DAN FALKNER was born and raised in Bergenfield, NJ. He attended Bergenfield High School and went on to graduate with distinction from the US Naval Academy with a degree in engineering. Upon graduation, Dan was commissioned as an Ensign in the US Navy and went on to become a Naval Aviator flying MH-60S helicopters.

Dan served nearly ten years on active duty amassing 1,800 flight hours while supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom and the Global War on Terrorism. Upon leaving the service, Dan earned an MBA from Columbia Business School and worked as an investment banker on Wall Street, advising companies on financial and strategic transactions. He currently works at a Fortune 15 company.

After serving our country overseas for nearly a decade, Dan's mission is now to serve the residents of Morris Township. Dan is confident that, as a team, he and Mark possess the necessary skill sets to bring new energy and fresh perspectives to the Morris Township committee.

MARK GYORFY was born and raised in Morris Township. He is a Morristown High School graduate and studied government and counter-terrorism at the University of Maryland. Mark later worked for U.S. Representative Albio Sires of the 8th Congressional District, advising the Congressman on homeland security, veterans’ affairs, and financial services policy.

Mark has been a firefighter for nearly a decade, and continues his service as a member of Hillside Hose Company No. 1. He currently works in the financial services industry.

Mark believes that Morris Township is ready for new leadership. Status quo initiatives of the past are no longer sufficient. Morris Township's 21st century challenges deserve 21st century solutions. Mark's financial background gives him the skills necessary to make to keep our taxes low.
